Sample Work IV

KAJIMA:  BDK Berkeley Historic House

Software used:  AutoDesk Revit & AutoCAD, Adobe PhotoShop & Illustrator.

The project is an old house located near the the UC Berkeley campus in Berkeley California. The owner wanted various options from a comprehensive renovation (current example) to a proposal for a completely new construction for a multi-family building. Built in the early 1900’s the city has placed a historic designation the structure.

The specific proposal required an in-depth Revit 3D model of existing conditions based on almost no information on the original build, but some basic drawings done in the 60’s during its last remodel and current site visit photos.

Specific Responsibility:  My responsibilities for this proposal consisted of generating a functional Revit 3D model, working with the lead architect on details concerning improvements and generating all appropriate layouts for the client to review and for the construction department to provide cost estimates.
