Prats Inc.: Lorna Jane Century City

Software used: MS Outlook, MS Exel, Adobe Acrobat Pro.

This project is a 1,706 sq. ft. retail store within the Century City Mall, tenant improvement. The retail consists of a sales floor, mechanical room, a storage area and (3) dressing rooms.

The construction of the retail store, which required my involvement with the construction execution.

Specific Architectural Responsibilities; 

• Assessing project scope and site requirements
• Generating a project budget and a construction schedule
• Contacting, screening and selecting licensed sub-contractors
• Contacting, screening and selecting material vendors
• Worked with the Architect and MEP consultants for change orders
• Reviewed and evaluated vendor and sub-contractor estimates
• Maintained open communication with subs and vendors
• Maintained open communication with client, architect and landlord
• Executed and supervised construction process
• Lead and supervised in-house crew and sub-contractors
• Scheduled and managed required inspections with the city and fire depts.
• Followed up on final client & landlord punch-list items
• Followed up on final process for the Certificate of Occupancy
